A little about me:
I’m a wife and a mother of three grown children. My undergraduate degree is in anthropology from CU Boulder and I have a graduate certificate in Cognitive Archaeology from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.

My flossing journey:
I am hypermobile, and have a very sensitive body. I was a figure skater as a teenager, then started yoga in college. I spent a few years in my mid-thirties doing weekly DahnMoDo (Korean tai chi) and this is where I first started getting in tune with different energy channels in my body.
Around this time I also started dancing. I’ve been dancing both jazz and ballet for over 10 years and perform several times a year. As my body started to age, I suffered from various forms of fasciitis. My fascia was tight as a response to my hypermobility.
But the tight fascia inhibited proper use of my muscles and range of motion. Physical therapists told me again and again that I was “one of the tightest persons they’d ever met.” I started getting massages, acupuncture, and electrically stimulated acupuncture just to be able to function. All of these solutions helped, but nothing provided true lasting relief and access to functional movement of my muscles more than fascia flossing.
I’ve been flossing my fascia almost everyday since 2023. In this time, I completed 50 hours of training and was certified by Bonnie Crotzer, founder of Fascia Flossing, to teach fascia flossing to others and to floss other people. I’ve been teaching flossing classes weekly since June of 2025.
